Why I’m writing 30 atomic essays on NFTs

Time in web3 is weird

While the days can feel long, the NFT space moves really fast. Participating in a drop last week can feel like a decade ago. A lot of the time it’s difficult to not only sift through the information but to also really absorb and comprehend it—at least that’s how it’s been for me.

To help process each day, I’m embarking on a #ship30for30 challenge where I’ll be writing 30 atomic essays, or micro-essays less than 300 words, about web3 and NFT related content.

Here’s what I want to dive into

  1. Learn more from artists and creators about their current work, their process in creating NFTs, and their journey in NFTs.
  2. Provide some beginner content on how to get started in the space as a collector or creator
  3. Share my experience so far with current projects but also explore some thoughts about the future of NFTs and crypto art, especially in music and literature

Figuring this out together

On a personal level, this project is meant to help me process my NFT journey, deepen my understanding of web3 culture and understand my own actions within the space.

At the same time, I intend to shine the spotlight on artists and creators to provide some insight or behind the scenes into how their journey has been so far and where they think the space is heading.

I hope in doing so this will help anyone in the community who’s also just as dazed and confused (especially beginners) as I am to have better insights into this extremely hectic but fun, lightning-fast section of internet culture and its future.
